    Default Which would you choose?

My favorite is the classic FMJBT for hunting purposes I mean you cant go wrong it has penetration power obviously and consistency with that penetration the only problem is where the slug goes after it penetrates fully (if it does)5.56x45

for target practice i mainly stick to match grade Hollowpoint and i have hunted with it before but IMHO i dont like to hunt with it i find it very good to target practice with especially the lighter slugs like 40 and 45 gr. because i think the lighter bullet teaches fundamentals for windage corrections anyway that is my rant today let me know what you guys like (.223)

    (RIFLE SLUGS)

Yeah, maybe you can clean up the original post. I have no idea what you're talking about. 40gr. FMJBT match grade shotgun slugs?

I think I know what you're trying to say.

What CARTRIDGE do we perfer to run in our ARs. At least, I think thats the discussion point.

I mostly use a 62gr hollow point bullet chambered in 5.56x45. The heavier bullets seem to have better accuracy than lighter ones given the twist rate of my rifle (1 in 7).

Please don't refer to rifle bullets as slugs. You are screwing everyone up. Slugs are for shotguns, bullets are for rifles and handguns.
