    Default AR uppers

I have a bushmaster x15, I want to put a flat top upper on it, I hate the look of the carry handle. My questions is this- can I buy any stripped upper and place my bushmaster parts in it to complete my rifle or is there more to it than this? Thanks in advance.

Standardized lower. Your typical AR upper and related parts will fit it just fine.

You shouldn't have a problem changing out the two upper recievers. The barrel will pop off the old reciever and attach to the new, flat top reciever. One thing to check for is if your barrel extention and new reciever is cut with rifle feed ramps or M4 feed ramps. Don't put a rifle ramp barrel on a M4 ramped reciever.
