Thanks for posting this. I couldn't swing the cash for 2k bullets, but I just picked up 500 for a lot less then even the Barry's bullets I had been using cost me.
LOL! I'm sorry, I know that's probably frustrating as all hell, but just the pure ridiculousness of half .40, half .38 makes me laugh. I could maybe see screwing up and sending half 165gr, half 180gr, or half HP and half FMJ, but what they did is just stupid.
How did you like the Berry Bullets. I have 250 .357 due in tomorow. Figured I'd give em a try
Fired 250 through my PPS and XD, no problems. Seem accurate enough to kill targets with. Have 250 more sitting in trays ready to go. I'd buy more, but the Rainier were cheaper this time.
But if you order a LOT OF BULLETS ( Like you get all your buddies together and order 25,000+ bullets) you can get a great discount.
A bunch of us guys at GCL ordered bullets and I 'think' ( I really can't remember) ~~~~I think I paid $78/1000 for 155gr RN 40cal ( I think the whole order was for 60,000+ projectiles) and they don't have to be all the same thing, you can mix and match.
ooh ya, always order a lot of projectiles and pay ONE SHIPPING charge, don't let the manufacturer send 10,000 here and 5000 there.....one shot shipping (pun intended)
I think the problem is you have to order a boat load of bullets to get a discount. But as I recall you can "negotiate" with them
