    Default Westchester County Handgun Purchase

    Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to buy handguns in Westchester County? The only place I can think of is R&T Smoke & Gun Shop in Mt. Vernon. I'd like to have some options to shop around before I make a purchase.

L&L Sports in Harrison... The website is still barebones, but there is some info on their Facebook page (it seems that the town is still trying to close down the store). It's a small store, but they were pretty friendly, and had a good number of handguns (mostly Glocks), and various other accessories. Ammo seemed to be priced fairly too. I bought some CCI 22LR ammo to give him some business.

Also, New England Sportswear is an FFL at 66 Fulton street in White Plains. I do not believe he has firearms on display, but I have used him to transfer my last purchase. I believe if you order a firearm through him he waives the FFL transfer fee.

Also, don't forget about the Gun Show at the County Center on 1/21 & 1/22!

Yeah, After chris mentioned it I looked it up and it seems like they have given them hell about opening the store in that town. I'll definetly go, take a look and atleast get skne ammo from them to support. We definitely need more gun stores around here, some people just cant live with the fact that there are people who actually are responsible with their weapons. Too much CNN if you ask me lol.

Gander in Middletown had the hands down lowest price on my new Kimber Ultra Carry 2. They beat about 5 other places.

If you are up for a ride, there are plenty on the other side of the river, and some up the river from you too. A search engine will give you plenty of options to choose from.

    Thruway Sporting goods in Walden
Gander Mtn in Middletown (MSRP mostly, once in a while you'll find a deal)

Plenty of others to get your booger picker on to the bang switch.

Thanks alot guys. Im definetly going to take the drive. I am itching to get my hands on a M&P M2.0. The guys at L&L Sports in Harrison have one but only with a 10 round mag. I think the ride up north will be worth it.

10 rd mags are the norm in NY, the days of 10+ are long gone.

Yeah, I've also come across their great reviews. if im not mistaking, they go by "Vayser Arms" now. I actually took a trip there a couple of weeks ago but i might have gotten there after they close because I pressed the buzzer and got no response. I am probably still going to try and go back soon. So far ive only found once place that has the M&P M2.0 around here.

Vayser Arms is only open on Tuesday's from 6:30pm - 9pm. According to them they are not dealers they are manufacturers and customizers. RT smoke and gun shop is an absolute horrible place to shop. They are very rude and try to sway you to buy what they want to sell. Then they try to rip you off for trying to help you do permit paper work for 150, paper work that anyone with a 9th grade education can fill out. Then they try to sell you a membership to the range with outrageous prices. I will never step foot in there again. Precision armory amazing place to shop, great staff that's patient with first time buyers. Blueline is ok, very clean and great staff, nice range! Actually it's a first class place as well.
