It's all good: Cuomo wouldn't waste his breath attacking us if he didn't think we were a threat to his reelection.

There are many who do not care either way what the Gov thinks or says. They will remain blind in their own ignorance. Too many NY's following this man blindly, just like the ilk who follow and drool over the President. In their eyes these men can do no wrong. They will follow no matter what. The ones who need to be reached are the ones who pay a bit of attention to politics, get those people informed, very well may turn the next election around. Get the people who normally vote Democratic because that is what they have always done. Get them to understand the kind of man that Cuomo is. Turn them to the other side!

Only we know about this. The people who actrually care. Ask anybody on the streets of NYC, even those who claim to be informed, and plan to vote, about what he said. They will either say they didn't hear anything about it, or agree with him. He felt safe enough to say it and confident enough that he won't be touched. He knows that even though he could lose the election if everybody in Upstate came out to vote; He knows most of the dumbasses will sit home and not take the trouble to vote him out of office. He is counting on it.

Most mainstream media outlets will ignore this story completely; however, I find it humorous that his re--election team are going to try to change the transcript after the fact to reflect "what he really intended to say." Come on Camp Andy... he spoke his beliefs. If he is a man, grow a pair and stand by it. Don't try to backpedal because it is an election year. Be steadfast in your stance so people can really see the chooch that you are.

We might be a bit extreme compared to the folks in NYC. Compared to the rest of the country Cuomo is an extremist.
So, Andy, Get the hell out of the country, you pampered NYC elitist trash.

Last night , Fox News hammered King Cuomo, about time he made national news in a negitive light. It was nice to see Sean Hannity call him out. FUAC!

Unfortunately both political parties are benefiting from our misfortune. Democrats got what they always wanted and RINO's are happy that the republican base is fired up. That was the plan. I wish both parties would go to hell. I am not sure which one is worse.

Heard the tape of him saying it this afternoon. It made me sick to my stomach.

If this guy gets re-elected he just might be right about everything he said.

    FUAC!!!!

    Thoughts from Steve McLaughlin:

"Cuomo is so thin-skinned he can get an X-ray by standing in front of a 100-Watt bulb.

This Governor is a thug, a tyrant and a bully. But like most bullies, they cut and run and hide like the cowards they are when they get hit back. Rather than address this nationwide controversy, Governor Gutless hides behind his lawyer, the always nasty Mylan Denerstein. Even in their absurd response where he takes no responsibility (progressives never do) they call Fred Dicker of the Post and "extreme conservative." You just can't make it up. Dicker was going to do a biography of Cuomo until the unSAFE Act ruined their relationship as Dicker is a 2nd amendment supporter.

He's now whining that his words were taken out of context. They
weren't. Listen to the interview if you haven't already and you'll see they were not taken out of context. He's used the "extremist" label repeatedly to demonize his opponents. Just like Obama does, and Reid, Pelosi, Schumer etc.
Remember the State of the State last year regarding the unSAFE Act; "FORGET THE EXTREMISTS!" He uses the term repeatedly.

    Here is Dennersteins letter:

"As we approach the political season we expect the campaign dialogue to become more heated on both sides. We understand the New York Post is an opinionated newspaper and that Fred Dicker is an extreme conservative. However responsibility must not be forsaken.

Dicker’s story that the Governor said Conservatives have no place in New York is unfair, false and the exact opposite of what his tenure as Attorney General and his state administration has been all about.

The Governor has never demonized the opposition to his gun law nor stance on protecting choice nor marriage equality. The Governor is a gun owner and a Catholic. His faith is very important to him and he respects the Second Amendment. I have been party to many of these discussions over the years and while opinions are firm, the entire discussion on these different views has been tempered and respectful. The Governor’s main principle for New York State is tolerance of different opinions, races, sexual orientation, and religion.

Fred Dicker has angered many with what has been reported as “hateful” comments but the Governor would be the first to defend Dicker’s right to express his views and believes the diversity of opinion is one of New York State’s greatest assets.

The Governor was making the point that he makes often: New York is a politically moderate state and an extremist agenda is not politically viable statewide. New York has a long history of electing Democrats and Republicans statewide who are moderate rather than on the extreme ends of the political spectrum. That is an inarguable fact.

Let’s discuss relevant issues rationally. Or at least attempt to do so."

Any person this unwilling to hear opposing views is unfit for office.
