    Angry Pistol permit renewal

I'm just thinking about how many unrestricted pistol permits will come back " hunting and target" after we renew them in 5 years, another way they can screw us.

    or DENIED.....

It would be one thing if the LTC was only about concealed carry, but our licenses are also required for possession.

Still can't find any reference to 5-Year renewals...except for the registering "assault style" B.S. I think (hope) that was just another part of this "really bad dream"!

Read this carefully. It's not a renewal, it'sa recertification. You're recertifying to the NYSP, not your licensing officer, so there is no opportunity to place restrictions on you.

The Governor's office has stated there will be no fee for this.

They *already* do this through DCJS... not sure how this new law really changes anything.
