    Default sks importer identification

have a chance to get a second norinco sks (my personal favorites)
its being sold as pre ban
its importer is csi ont ca (Ontario, california)

were they importing before or after 1994 would be my question

its matching and near mint (dont look like arsenal refurb) all matching (no forced match)

asking price is reasonable for a pre ban, just need to know if it really is pre ban

its a 1979? norinco 20in with bayonet and a 10rd and a 20 rd (both fixed chicom stamped) no muzzle breaks, no granade launchers attachments, all original except its missing cleaning rod. WOULD I HAVE TO MODIFY IT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM TO KEEP IT? From info on that page i figure mag is legit just dont wanna buy one just to have to separate her and add some ugly synthetic stock to her

ar are nice but sks are more classy look to it , but whenever i find a ar for 400 bucks i take em, had a couple 16 but hated them, fired a 20 and 24 and i know thats what i want now

as far as changing parts goes i have one in original in less than nice condition, i also have all the bells and whistles for it like custom smithed dust cover with rail, ati aftermarket stock, i just happen to like mine stock (other than the recoil helper on butplate)

i think ill pass on the rifle til i can get a better idea of the laws with em

id assume that since its marked by csi cali that it would be fine due to being preban but these laws are nuts, ill stick with the one i have dings and all (hey at least she is paid for and legal!)
