Default Savage axis xp .308 extended mag?

Hey does anyone know if there is an extended magazine for the savage axis xp .308? I have done some searching and find it
hard to believe that one does not exist for this model? Maybe Ive looked in the wrong places?

I know 10 rounders exist for all other savage models in .308.

Im also a newb to bolt action rifles and long range shooting.

I looked everywhere and don't see one for sale.....Budget friendly rifles like that don't usually have much if any aftermarket support......

I figured that, well thanks for looking into it. Maybe in the near future some will be produced.

there was a guy on the hide that was converting factory mags but his' state passed high cap mag ban which made him have to stop making them.

another guy tried to pick up where he left off but threw in the towel after he couldn't get them to feed properly.

Not really that hard to believe that more accessories do not exist for the Axis. That is a price point rifle which is probably used for hunting as much as anything else, and not too many hunters need more than a few rounds in a mag. The box mag on a rifle like an Axis is probably a safety measure as much as anything else.

Savages are built on 3 types of actions basically - the Axis and the walking varminter are fairly new, and the action generally known as model 10. The model 10 action is used on more than the model 10 of course, it is the basis of most of the Savage line. Items like mags, stocks, triggers, bolt faces and handles are used across most of the Savage rifles. Take the basic Savage action with the older model Savage trigger, add a sporter weight barrel and a synthetic stock and you have the Stevens 200 at a $300 price point. Take that same action with an accutrigger, DBM, heavy fluted barrel and longer bolt handle in a tactical stock, and you get the 10BA models at the $1500 price point.

If you think you may want to upgrade your rifle a bit at a time, the Stevens 200 with the model 10 action would be a better starting point than the Axis.
