Once again, NYFirearms will be sponsoring the NEShooters Summit training event held at Pelham Fish & Game Club, Pelham, NH. This is the 6th annual Summit Meeting and it will be held on April 26, 27, and 28th of this year. The focus this year will be on solutions for dealing with difficult situations. The summit will last for two and a half days and will allow the participants to meet with and learn from the training industry’s leading experts. This is absolutely one of the best values for training this year.
This year’s scheduled instructors include Craig Douglas aka SouthNarc, Rob Pincus of I.C.E. Training, Cecil Burch, Chris Fry of MDTS Training, Dave Harrington, Wes Doss of Khyber Training, Kelly Venden, Bill Lewitt, and our own Mike Centola.
Additionally, there will be a Man-on-Man shoot-off with prize money and a raffle.
The cost to attend the summit is only $300, however, members of NYFirearms.com will be able to attend for just $275! Advance sign-up is required by all.
Once again we are asking you to come to the Monroe Co. Legislative meeting on July 10th 6pm Monroe Co. Office building 39 W. Main St. Rochester 4th floor.
At the June meeting we had a great turnout of speakers and enough supporters for loud supportive applause.
WE NEED TO DO BETTER at the July meeting. We hope to have some media coverage at this meeting so a large turnout is essential.
As a refresher, the issue is a change to the county parks law that bans all firearms. We are seeking a change to allow licensed concealed carry in the parks.
The Republican leadership, Bill Reilich and Maggie Brooks, are blocking this legislation from making it to the floor for debate and vote because they think it is to controversial an issue for this crucial election cycle.
We plan to be there every month on this issue but July is a key event, so please make every effort to be there and to spread the word.

ATTENTION MONROE COUNTY GUN OWNERS
WE NEED YOU TO ATTEND THE MONROE COUNTY LEGISLATURE MONTHLY MEETING ON MAY 8 6PM AT THE MONROE COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING 39 W. MAIN ST. ROCHESTER.
Currently, Monroe County parks law bans all firearms in all county parks. We have been working on changing this law for a few years and had a deal worked out for the change to be voted on at the June legislature session. We are now getting information that some in the republican party are getting cold feet on making this change. They seem to think passing it at this time will hurt Maggie Brooks chances of defeating Louise Slaughter. They have used similar excuses for years.
I will be at the May 8 meeting to speak as will others but we need a large crowd of gun owners there for support. The legislative chambers will only seat 75 but an overflow crowd into the hallways and stairways would be desirable and add impact to any remarks by myself and others. Please make an effort to be there.
