    Default TulAmmo 308 -- really relabeled 7.62x51?

    I get a 30% misfire rate for TulAmmo 308 Win ("TA308000" - steel-Berdan) in my BAR Mk3 Stalker DBM.

The primer indent is more rounded than for better brass ammo -- which never misfires.

OTOH it fires OK in my T/C Compass 308.

Could this "308 Win" actually be 7.62x51 ammo with stiff military primers?

This would not be the first Russian maskirovka.

no one has replied so i will, it has a berdan primer, generally those are military hard, so yes its most likely due to that.
