Targetsportsusa twice in the last month straight to my doorstep. Usually ships in 2 to 3 business days. Two cases 223, 1 case 308, few boxes 30 carbine. No issues at all. I live in Otego County.

Target Sports, and others, are in legal compliance, since the "three men in a room" MOU putting Internet sales restrictions on "hold", yet not actually changing the statute...anyone have a current list of Internet ammo sellers willing to ship direct to NYS individuals?

Two of the prior 3-men are now in a much smaller room, or, waiting to go there, a room with barred doors, and a visitor room and commissary...with "employment" that pays 21-cents/hour...the 3rd man needs to be there, too, and I have faith in Preet Bharara to make it happen.

Anyone ever have an issue with Target Sports USA? I ordered a box of .22 months ago just to test and I got it. I just placed a new order for several different things, I got the package but they shorted me two boxes of Hornady Critical Defense, so that's like $40 worth of ammo. There are X's on the item on the invoice but no reasoning to it and I was charged for it.

I sent them an email but haven't heard back. I'll try to call Thursday but I just want to see if anyone else has had this issue. I've seen lots of negative reviews about them but they ship to NY so I'm happy to order if I can just get what I paid for.

Id call them, ive been ordering from them for a few years without any issues. I dont know why they would have a bunch of negative reviews, but they are one of the few online vendors openly willing to sell/ship here. Prices arent bad either.

I've ordered from them a bunch of times, had a couple bumps here and there. A quick phone call fixed it every time. Overall I'm very happy with them and will continue to use them as my go-to.

Gave them two days to respond by email. I didn't get an answer, called today and it went straight to voice mail during business hours and left a message.

I'll call again tomorrow. It's starting to feel like one of those reviews though. I'll call again tomorrow. As much as it would annoy me if nothing ever happened and they just scammed me out of $40 I probably won't burn bridges if I can avoid it. There is practically no one else shipping ammo to NY.

But seriously $40 of missing ammo and no answer would really, really upset me.

Weird, I've never had trouble getting through. Holiday weekend-itis, or maybe a crazy end of month? I know its crazy at my job today because of end of month...

Just placed an order with Brownell's without issue, they have 1c shipping on all orders this weekend.

    Updated:

They processed my order, then contacted me stating they cant legally ship to me. I sent them an email, but i doubt it will do any good.

For reference if anyone wants a source for the ammo purchase law stuff:

    NY Penal law 400.03 http://codes.findlaw.com/ny/penal-la...ct-400-03.html

Finally got a call through to CS at Target Sports today. It took awhile for me to call again since Thursday because of the weekend and the holiday, also I had some stuff going on so I just haven't had the chance.

I'm getting a refund for the ammo I didn't receive. She said the ammo was damaged so that's why I didn't get it and there would be a refund issued to me, I only got the email and refund notification as I was on the phone so I'm not sure what would've happened if I never followed up. No answer to my email sent or the voicemail I left, but once I got a live person on the phone I managed to get it resolved.

I dunno, not a fun experience in general but I'll order from them again if they have something I want I can't get elsewhere. Now I gotta track down a place I can get 9x18 Critical Defense locally if I can. That's like finding hens teeth where I live though.

I ordered from DoubleTap Ammunition recently and they delivered straight to my door.

For anyone who doesn't know them, they're one of the "hot" ammo makers, especially known for 10mm. I've bought .40 and .357 Sig from them. I don't have a chrono so I can't speak to numbers. Subjectively, the recoil is noticeably sharper than regular ammo, the report is much louder, and even though I'm not recoil sensitive it wears my hands out quickly. Their reputation is that their ammo is definitely hot, but they do allegedly inflate the fps numbers.

Lucky Gunner and Sportsman Guide don't so they should be removed from the list.
