Default DSI - DS-15 Fixed Round Lowers and Rifles now available

They are finally here, the first full production run of DS-15 Fixed Non-Detachable Magazine Lowers. These DS-15 lowers have all of the same features as our normal billet DS-15 lowers except, instead of a mag release button and magazine catch latch, they use an internal set screw to hold in place the included Magpul PMAG Gen M3 10 Round Magazine.

Lower Parts :: DSI DS-15 Stripped Fixed Magazine Lower Receiver Black -

Complete rifles based on these lowers start next week and we are hoping to get into DSI AR Style Pistols later this fall. We will have a few DS-15 rifles at the NY Firearms event later this month built with these lowers. We are also currently signing up dealers across NY. If you are interested in seeing them in your local dealer, have them reach out to use and we will send them a dealer application package.

Not easily, so we have a trade-in program. If the law changes or you move out of state, send us your fixed mag lower and $100 and we will send you a standard configuration one.

Any word on SCPD regarding pistols built on these receivers? I want an AR pistol and as soon as Suffolk agrees to put these on licenses I will be in with cash in hand!

How would a damaged mag be handled? Broken lips, etc.? Can the user or a local gunsmith repair or must it be sent back to you?

The mag is user servicabele. It just requires a detail strip of the lower to a cess the screw to remove. Pretty smart design really.

Correct, the magazine retaining pin can be removed with a long allen wrench through an extra hole in the rear of the receiver (buffer end plate needs to come off or move to side) and the fire control group has been removed.

I really like this solution for having a fixed mag gun. Especially in the use as a pistol.

Do you guys have any updates on SCPD's opinion on using this for pistol builds? Obviously going by the law it is a legal no-brainer. Unfortunately no-brainer also seems to describe SCPD.

How do these guns get loaded? Like are they top-loaders? And can you load them with stripper clips? Thanks.
