Default Experience at a gun club

I would like to share a weird experience I had on a gun club this past weekend.
So 2 of my friends who are members of this gun club which i am not naming invited me to shoot this weekend,
i brought my featureless ar, one of my friends had the same and the other brought his bolt action.
Everything was fine and normal then when ceasefire was called we were all just chatting around til the range is ready and another member of the club (they dont know this guy) came over to us, and started telling us that ARs and any black rifle should not ever be allowed for civilians even if its featureless and all that crap. Told us that we should not have bought ARs. He then told us he is so glad Cuomo signed the safe act, we couldnt believe what we were hearing, mind you this is even a few counties north of westchester and on a very respectable gun club thats kinda hard to join.
anyone get these guys on their clubs?

I suppose he's entitled to his opinion, even if it's ridiculous. Why not just say thanks bud, enjoy your day, and keep it moving?

Just ignore him, easier to say then do. I would've had a very hard time not telling him to STFU!

I like telling those people that less than 5% of those firearms were registered, and no matter how maws are passed or what anyone says, they are still out there in the hands of civvies and nobody can do anything about it.

Did you compliment his shiny Prius.

Besides, how many bullets do you need to shoot a deer anyway?

At ny Club, if anything gets out of shape like that we notify Club Management with the ID # of the offending idiot. If it is a safety issue and no Management on site at the Club and offending idiot won't correct his/her behavior, call 911.
