I looked around a bit and I see what you mean. The Taurus website does claim them to be available but all sites selling them seem to be out of stock or discontinued. First thing I'd do would be to call Taurus and see if the Tracker 44 scope mount is compatible. I'm not sure if it is, but the stock photos at least appear very much the same. The Raging Bull one is Taurus item 10-031 and the Tracker one is 10034 so it might not be compatible OR it's also possible it's the same mount that simply doesn't say Raging Bull on it.

Beyond that, on the Taurus site for the product they do list potential dealers for it. If you start calling around those numbers you might find a shop with one sitting around even if it really is discontinued.

 

Yeah, that's pretty much my determination as well. Taurus appears to still be making them but everywhere seems to show them as discontinued/out of stock. I guess I'll have to call Taurus as see what's up. Thanks.

 

I agree. I recently purchased a Raging Bull in .44 with a 6.5" barrel and can not find the mounts anywhere. I first found a mount on ebay. After it arrived, I realized I misread the description. It was for the model 44 and does not fit the Raging Bull. I have ordered one from two different websites that showed they had the in stock, only to be contacted a few days later saying they had none available and had no idea when they would. I called the Customer Service number for Taurus and spoke to what I believe was just a call center and not anyone working at Taurus, He put me on a back order list. I guess time will tell. The sad part of this is one of the reasons I chose the Bull was I didn't need to have it drilled and tapped.

Don't give up hope! I recently went through the same ordeal except the mount I was looking for was for a High Standard "Supermatic Citation" Model 106. Six months ago I inquired to several different websites that sell scope mounts, and two weeks ago I got an email from one saying they found some old stock tucked away someplace other than where it should be, and if I was still interested? Indeed I was, especially since I didn't need to drill and tap. You will indeed find one on the net! Good Luck

So I actually found a write-up on another site explaining how to modify the available 8 3/8" mount to work with the 6 1/2" barrel. I'll post the link as soon as I can find it.
