Can this be made into a sticky?

Due to the great ammo/powder/primer/bullet run of 2012-2013 many people have started reloading and/or are looking for alternate powders/components. Over the years in addition to my traditional (purchased) reloading manuals I've discovered there is a lot of FREE information out there from the manufacturer's. Check back from time to time, I'll make this a work in progress. Please add your own links, I'm always looking for more knowledge.

I will post manufacturer's information/links but I won't post links/data to individuals who may or may not be experienced reloaders. Manufacturer's have staff and resources to compile data. I would only use an individualsl posted reloading data if I was an experienced reloader. There's way too much free manufacturer's information out there.

If you find something useful I'd recommend printing it out and compiling a personal (hard copy) reloading data book/reference manual specific to your needs. Be humble and be honest with yourself (safety philosophy).

Cast Bullets

Cast bullets are an inexpensive alternative to jacketed bullets. Keep velocities at or below the recommended minimums. I've used cast bullets in handguns and in my handgun caliber rifle carbines (Marlin 1894). I use .38 full wad cutters and .38 SWC in my garden rifle for woodchuck. I have not used cast bullets in my heavy rifles (yet).

I don't cast because it's hot, stinky, and messy. I'd rather reload and shoot.

Dardas Cast Bullets:
Traditional lead/antimony/tin cast bullets. Over the years I've ordered thousands of 9mm, .38, .44 and .45acp from this guy. He's a retired engineer and anal retentive about his product.

If I wanted to buy one reloading kit w/ all the parts this it what I'd buy: (Personal experience and preference)
RCBS RC SUPREME SELECT KIT : Cabela's

You can get better prices outside Cabela's. The idea is the kit, w/all the bells and whistles.

It has a basic electronic scale; I have the same model; 10 years old and working fine.

Case trimmer and off press primer are very good.

I'd get a RCBS lube pad, I hate spray.

Case cleaner is not included.

I prefer single station over progressive, I like to inspect my ammo often.

There's also reload data for .223/.308 and other performance target rifles. For anal retentive reloaders. Tons of other long distance shooting and reloading articles.
