Does anyone know whats going on with the lawsuit with tasers? Are we good to carry them or not? Im in Suffolk but travel all over. Last I read, there was a lawsuit saying it was still not ok in the southern half of the state

Last I knew the IS Supreme Court ruled they were protected by the second amendment. So they are good to go. I heard NYS has not removed the law from the books so you could still potentially get hassled but I doubt it would go anywhere. How could it?

NEVER doubt the ability of the legislature and the governor to ignore the Constitution, especially the Second Amendment. To get hassled is to most likely to be arrested and charged. With you having to foot the legal bills to test the state law leaving you in debt and possibly loosing your pistol permit because you are not of good moral character. Until and unless we oust the Democrat controlled legislature and the governor in the upcoming elections nothing will change.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a make/model worth buying?

Do the taser/flashlight combos like this one work?
