Default CO-register by mail? (Erie County)

Now that I have received my letter in the mail. My father and I would like to co-register one of his pistols. Reading the instructions for adding/removing by mail, would my letter be considered the "paper permit"? Or do I have to wait for the offices to re-open in order to complete co-registration?

New permits are plastic so you will be issued a plastic permit. Paper permits are the older style.

I’d call to be sure but there is the co-registration form and adding/removing a pistol. I would think you’d fill them both out and when you get your plastic permit back your good to take possession of your father pistol at that point.

I spoke with the office. Very nice lady. I just need to fill out the form and send a copy of my letter and a photo copy of my father's permit with the required fee.

that's how I thought it would go. A few minute call never hurts to make sure everything is right though.

Don’t know there’s a list. Call your county or look on Their site. Things vary so much it’s hard to keep it straight.
