Well I finally got the permit in the mail today, I am sure it had nothing to do with calling and sending an e-mail asking what the hold up was last week.

The way the penal law was writen about how they have 6 months to either approve or deny you I always took as from the time you turned everything in. The clerk on the phone told me it was 6 months from when it was on the judges desk.......

Whatever, I really dont care as I have the permit and will be adding my .45 on Monday.

Does anyone know if the WM in Henrietta sells ammo?

    Congrats!
I was always at that Walmart when I went to MCC last year. They only sell shotgun ammo, from what I can remember. I do not re call seeing any pistol or rifle ammo. Its been a year, so maybe they do now.

I have been to many of the local Walmart's recently looking! 9mm & 40SW is hard to find. I find a Winchester White Box here and there and that is about it!

The pistol and rifle ammo is locked up in 2 glass cases behind where the shotgun ammo is. You can just walk around to look at it. I usually cleam them out of WWB .45 when I go so you may want to go today since i'm going tomorrow

Just got back from the WM in Henrietta with 500 rounds of Federal .45 acp 230 gr. They were $15.97 per box.

They were out of WWB in .45 but if you are looking for 9mm in WWB (only 9mm and .22 in WWB) I would guess they have about 200 or so 50 round boxes. I think the price was around $10ish per box.

I also saw some .40 in Federal.

I think the Permit office will be closed Monday due to Martin Luther King Day. Congrats on finally getting the permit.

Damn, I guess there is no need to be checking the mail like a crazy person.

You never know, it seems pretty random how they are going about sending out the permits, hopefully you will get yours soon.
